Oracle Dental Group is in the fortunate position of providing placement for undergraduate and postgraduate dental professionals due to its position as the Academic Dental Clinic of the University of Essex.

With this background, Oracle Dental Group is able to accept referrals for certain treatments on both an NHS and private contract basis.

Periodontology and Implantology

Rob Ratcliffe is a periodontist who works in both the Coggeshall and Colchester sites to provide periodontal and implant treatment on a private contract basis. He also works as a Clinical Teacher on the MSc in periodontology and advanced periodontal practice programmes at the University of Essex and has been a Clinical Teacher at Guy’s Dental Hospital in London since 2007. He undertakes a wide range of periodontal therapy including periodontal surgery for the treatment of periodontal disease or mucogingival surgery for the treatment of recession, crown lengthening, etc.

Srini Jakileti who owns Bridge House Dental Practice is also a visiting clinician who undertakes a wide range of implant treatments, including sinus lifts and other more complex procedures.

Nick Barker also works as part of the implant team to then restore the implants alongside a Clinical Dental Technician, Tom Cutmore, who carries out both clinical care and constructs the final prostheses.

Rotational Tomogram and Cone Beam Computerised Tomography

Oracle Dental Group uses a Cone Beam Computerised Tomogram as part of the planning process for the various referral services amongst other things. We are, therefore, able to accept referrals for patients requiring either image to be taken as part of their ongoing dental care.
